Nag Tibba ('Serpent's Peak'), 3,022 metres (9,915 ft), is the highest peak in the lesser himalayan region of Uttarakhand state (Garhwal Division), and lends its name to the 'Nag Tibba Range', itself the next-northerly of the five folds of the Himalaya. The 'Nag Tibba Range' is amongst three principal ranges of the Lesser Himalayas, which includes the Dhauladhar, and the Pir Panjal, which branched off from the Great Himalayas. It is said to be domicile of Nag Devta from which its gets its name, as 'Tibba' is a local word for hill/peak. Local villager used to come here to offer their prayer to Nag Devta for the protection of their cattle. Among trekkers and adventure lovers this place is heaven. Winters are chilly and summers are pleasant which makes it one of attractive place for camping.

Arrive Delhi. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Delhi combined with a visit to Akshar Dahm Temple. |

We leave early in the morning from Delhi to our first halt “Mussoorie- The Queen of the Hills”. The air is pure, the climate is invigorating, the architecture interesting and the majestic mountains,all this adds up to the beautiful walks through stately deodars. Lunch enroute.
Once in Mussoorie we check in the hotel and rest for the night with hot supper served. |

Early morning start we head to Pantwari….From Pantwari we will start our trek for Nagtibba base. This trek is of approximately 6/7 kms and will take us about 4 to 5 hrs. The trail is pretty steep throughout. We will stop en route for refreshments and lunch. Early evening we will arrive at the campsite. Post arrival we will set up a camp for the night. After a refreshing cup of tea/coffee we will explore the beautiful surroundings. In the night we will enjoy a sumptuous meal around a bonfire, under the star spangled sky. |

Wake up to the chirping of birds and enjoy a hot cuppa tea/coffee. After an early breakfast we will hike for about 2 kms to reach the Nagtibba top (3050 mts). From here we will enjoy the majestic views of the snow clad mountain ranges of Garhwal and Himachal. You will get to see the famous Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Srikanth , Black peak and many more peaks from here. We will have picnic lunch here and spend the whole afternoon relaxing. After evening tea we will hike for about 2 kms to reach today's campsite. In the evening we will collect dry wood and get a small bonfire going. Enjoy your freshly prepared dinner and crash into your sleeping bags. |

After breakfast pack up the camp and start walking down towards Teva Gaon. We will stop en route for lunch. Return trek will take us about 5 hrs. Today's hike is of 10 kms but totally downhill. Views are totally in contrast with previous day. We will walk through thick jungles to reach scenically located Teva gaon. Here one can take a refreshing dip in the river flowing by.

Day at leisure and in the afternoon depart by surface for Delhi. Arrive at Delhi and check in at hotel. |
