Do Dham – Gangotri – Yamunotri

Tour is a religious tour. It can be a family tours as well as group tour.

The Dodham – Gangotri – Yamunotri tour is undertaken in order to cleanse oneself and his ancestors and relieve one from cycle of birth and death, wash away their sins and help attain Nirvana.

The Dodham package can be completely customized according to the client requirements.

Day 01: Haridwar – Syanachatti (215 kms / 7 – 8 hrs)

Pick up from Haridwar – Rishikesh – Dehradun. Travel to Syanachatti via Mussoorie. Visit Kempty Falls. Reach Syanachatti.

Overnight stay at hotel

Day 02: Syanachatti – Yamunotri – Syanachatti 16 kms Drive / 6 kms trek

Drive to Janki Chatti Trek route for Yamunotri Temple. Take a 6 km trek towards Yamunotri. Later have the Yamunotri temple darshan.

Trek back to Janki Chatti. Overnight stay at hotel

Yamunotri Temple: It is the spiritual source of Yamunotri river. The Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century.
Surya Kund: There are a number of thermal springs surrounding the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Rice is cooked here in the Suryakund which is the taken as prasad.
Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Day 03: Syanachatti – Uttarkashi 130 kms Drive

Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple for Darshan. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Garhwal Himalayas. Overnight stay in the hotel

Uttarkashi: is also known as the kashi of North. It is situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected.

Gangotri

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri ( 100 km one side / 3 hrs ) – Uttarkashi

Drive to Gangotri. En-route stop at Gangnani for a hot sulphur water spring dip. River Ganga/Bhagirathi Darshan and Puja. Return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Gangotri: It is the spiritual source of the Ganga river. People pray here to goddess ganga to clean away their sins.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Rishikesh Sightseeing – Haridwar ( 140 Kms 7 hrs )

Drive to Rishikesh .

Rishikesh Local Sight Seeing (Ram Jhulla, Laxman Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Parmarth Niketan, Shivananda and Gita Kutir).

Drive to Haridwar. Visit Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temple. Haridwar local Sightseeing ( Bharat Mata Temple, Shanti Kunj, Maya Devi Mandir, Parad Shivling ). Visit Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri.
